Mikhail Popa
Mikhail Popa was born in Nisporeny, Moldavia. Mikhail is currently married and has two beautiful children that are both attending the Kharkov State University attaining their degrees as artists.
1972-1978 Popa formally studied in the Art School in Kishinev, earning a degree as an artist.
1980-1989 Popa furthered his formal art education by enrolling in Kharkov State University. While there, he attained the higher degree of Specialist Diploma as Painter and Graphic Designer, certifying him to teach in fine arts, drawing and applied arts.
1991-1994 Lectured in art and diagram at the University of Kishinev
1996-2001 Taught the history of art at the High School in Eshar (close to Kharkov)

1975 First place in the children competition of Moldavians Children’s Artwork
1978 Exhibition of his dissertation on Kishinev, capital of Moldavians
1992 Exhibition at the artist union Moldavians, Sektio graphics
1993 Participated in the autumn display in Kishinev
1994 Exhibition in Bucharest at the gallery of "Kaleus"
1995 2nd exhibition in Bucharest at the gallery of "Kaleus"
1996 Exhibition in the gallery of 'Iash', Barstow, Konstanca (Rumania) and Kharkov (Ukraine)
1998 Exhibition in the gallery of “Coleus”, Romania
1999-Present- Popa continues to find inspiration in the work that he does and creates work of arts that are sold throughout the world.
Some of his paintings are in private collections in Moldavian, Romania, Ukraine, Germany, Italy, Japan and of course the United States.
