Dasha Klunnikova
Dasha Klunnikova was born in Ukraine and comes from a family of professional artists. Dasha formally studied art in Ukraine and earned her degree as an artist from Kharkov State Art School. She furthered her formal art education by enrolling in Kharkov State Industrial University. In 2000 Dasha achieved the higher degree of Specialist Diploma as Artist and Graphic Designer and started her professional painting career.
During 2001, Dasha became a member of the Young Artist Association and her art was on display at the Ukraine Union Art Exhibition for Artist day and the Christmas Exhibition in Kiev. In 2002 she won the best upcoming young artist award in Chuguiv for one of her landscapes.
In 2003 she exhibited her work in Kishinev, Moldavia for the summer art festival and in 2004 and 2005 Dasha worked in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other cities to capture the national landscapes and architecture of Russia.
During 2006 Dasha’s art was exhibited at the International Exhibition in Dresden, Germany and Athens, Greece and today her work is displayed in galleries throughout the United States.
