Aleksey Mikhailov
Aleksey Mikhailov was born April 30th in Chuguiv region in Ukraine
Aleksey developed his current painting style from his lifelong passion for travel
when viewing his paintings it is easy to see how they reflect his thue knowladge
Aleksey paintings are distinctively textured and brilliantly illuminated landscapes
and seascapes evoking memories of romantic interludes in exoric settings
He started his art education since he saw the beautiful landscapes of his morherland
At age 13 Aleksey started drawing complicated pictures with shades and fully detailed
amazing art pieces by only a pencil. In scholl he always was the one who draw all the posters
At the age 23 he graduated from Kharkov state art collage, During his collage years he exhibited
his work with his calssmates many times and was recognized for his outstanding work
His friends saw the talent in Aleksey and funded his supplies until Aleksey was making
enoufe Money to support himself as an artist.
It is through his unique treatment of the light that Aleksey achieves his most remarkable images.
His magnificent use of the light produces paintings which are pristine lush and mysterious.
Aleksey is currently a member of the National Artist Union of Ukraine
Member of the Kharkov Academy of painting.
He was participant in many art exhibitions since 1985.
And made his own soo exhibition in Chuguiv annual event.
